Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the online publication of Early American Paintings
in the Worcester Art Museum, authored by

David R. Brigham, Curator of American Art,
Laura K. Mills, Curatorial Assistant of American Art, and
Philip A. Klausmeyer, Samuel H. Kress Fellow in Paintings Conservation,
with Website creation by Botticelli Interactive. It can be accessed free
from:

http://www.worcesterart.org/Collection/Early_American/
<http://www.worcesterart.org/Collection/Early_American/>

A tremendous resource of searchable information on Early American art from
1670-1830, this free catalog contains 1200 manuscript pages of detailed
entries, over 200 illustrations from the museum's collection, timelines,
artist's biographies, bibliographies and conservation notes.

The catalog is the result of a 3 year collaboration between the curators and
conservators at the Worcester Art Museum. Funding for the project was
provided by the Henry Luce Foundation and other public and private
foundations.
