Advance notification of the 14th ARCLIB Annual Conference and call for papers The 2001 conference of the Association of Architecture Librarians will be held in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent, UK from Wednesday July 18th until Friday July 20th 2001 hosted by the Kent Institute of Art & Design. Topics to be covered include: * Trade literature * Web based user education * Archives and information sources on conservation and older buildings * Library/academic staff liaison * Open forum for discussion * And much more................ There will be opportunities to explore the architecture of Canterbury - currently in the throes of massive rebuilding of the shopping area and of course there is the Cathedral. Delegates may extend their stay in the conference accommodation by arrangement. Canterbury is a short distance from the Channel Ports with easy access to France and Belgium by sea or by the Tunnel.
