LOIS SWAN JONES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDS
The ARLIS/Texas-Mexico Chapter is pleased to offer its annual Lois Swan
Jones Travel award.
The members of the chapter voted this year to award TWO awards of $600.00
each to help with travel expenses to the ARLIS/NA conference in Los Angeles,
California, March 29 - April 4, 2001.
Purpose: To support and encourage the involvement of an ARLIS/Texas-Mexico
member in the ARLIS/NA annual conference by contributing toward travel
expenses.
Requirements:
1. Applicants must be active members of ARLIS/NA and ARLIS/Texas-Mexico;
2. Applicants cannot receive full institutional funding for travel to the
ARLIS/NA conference;
3. Preference will be given to applicants who are actively participating in
the conference, e.g., speaker, moderator, recorder, or committee member, or
to first-time attendees.
Please send a letter stating your qualifications, interest, and intentions,
amount of institutional funding for conference attendance, and conference
program involvement to:

Letters must be received by December 1, 2000. Award recipients will be
notified by January 1, 2001.
