Dear Colleagues,
Our curator of American art has asked me to locate copies of annual
exhibition catalogs of the Pyramid Club, a black social club in Philadelphia
that sponsored exhibitions during the 1940' and 1950's of African American
artists. He has 1941,43,46,52,55 and 57. Most useful to him is the 1945
issue. The titles are "Catalogue of the Third Exhibition...", etc.
Separate from the annual exhibition catalogs is "The Pictorial Album," a
kind of year book that summarized all functions at the Pyramid Club; He
would like to find October 1941, 1942-43 and 1945.
I would welcome any suggestions or assistance you could give to me. I have
only been able to locate the Fourth Annual (1944).
