Subject: Open-Access Model for Publishing

With the hoopla surrounding e-books on occasion reaching absurd lengths, it's refreshing to read an article in the Chronicle of Higher Education that supports a model for publishing which is not proprietary, not restricted in access, and not likely to force libraries into receivership.

The article consists of an interview with Cornell Professor, William
Y. Arms, and makes for interesting reading.
