----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Our museum has an intercom I believe but would never dream of paging personnel thus, for the reason you mention. We use the phone &/or ask a guard/custodian/nearby staff member to track down the staff member &/or leave a message on their chair/computer. Email is another option these days providing the message is not urgent. We also leave paper messages in "mailboxes" or with the receptionist. Good luck. Sincerely, Rebecca D.
