Getty Research Library has opening for full-time rare book cataloger.
Prepares original bibliographic records for rare momographs in a variety of
formats and languages for a scholarly collection in art history and the
humanities. Requires: ALA-accredited MLS & undergrad degree in art history
or related discipline or equivalent; reading knowledge of 2 European
languagues; 3-4 years online cataloging experience including rare book
cataloging; knowledge of AACR2, DCRB, MARC, LC Classification, LCRIs.
Excellent written & verbal communications, organization, and interpersonal
skills. Salary range starts at $38,700. Excellent benefits. Send cover
