Dear Friend,

The idea of visiting this web site has been given me
by the Head of an Art Library in Australia and I ve
been a subscriber to it ever since. I believe my
periodical wouldn t be a nuisance sort of stuff for
your site because I think it will fit in with your
Library's plans.

Among our subscribers and contacts currently are the
Western States Arts Federation in Denver (Colorado),
"Monarch" Contemporary Art Centres in Washington
State, major Art Libraries and Galleries the USA,
Australia (National Gallery of Art in Canberra), New
Zealand, Britain (National Art Library in London),
Switzerland, etc. It will be quite an honour for us to
see our periodical in your Library.

We wish to introduce ourselves as a new bilingual art
magazine from Russia "ART-Chronika" about Russian
visual arts, contemporary art in particular
(www.artchronika.com). Obviously your readers will
benefit from our magazine, because it's the only
magazine from Russia of that kind - bilingual,
interesting, professional, full colour, high quality
("it's worth it" as you say it).

                    ART-CHRONIKA

ART-Chronika magazine is the first bilingual
(English-Russian) comprehensive art periodical from
Russia about visual arts, contemporary and old Russian
art, antiques and nationally recognised and young
Russian artists. It is also directed at the
professional art market participants (dealers in fine
arts and antiques, purchasers and sellers etc.).

ART-Chronika is a by-monthly periodical, which will
keep you abreast of all the news and developments in
the Russian art market and business The best Russian
art critics write for our magazine and moreover we
have partnership relations with a number of museums
and art galleries in Moscow and Russia. Starting from
January 2001 it will be published monthly.

ART-Chronika is a full colour, high quality periodical
of 160 pages with a circulation of 30.000 (for the
forthcoming issue). There are 4 more issues in our
plans for 2000. The subscription is US$ 26.00 for the
rest of 2000. Delivery is by international mail. We
offer TNT's delivery of US$ 37.90 for Europe and US$
49.20 for the rest of the world and US$ 15.10 by the
Russian Certified Post (that is hand-to-hand and it
takes a week longer than TNT s). And there are special
prices for Libraries(!).

The magazine is distributed throughout Russia to top
businesses, hotels, fairs, museums, shops, art schools
and academies, government institutions, offices of
major foreign companies etc. and around the world.

ART-Chronika is the most important means, which is
designed to promote Russian Art and Antiques and help
pave the way for the Russian artists to win
international acceptance. Now we have come to the next
stage of our development and are increasing our
exposure to the outside world.

We are looking for new partnerships abroad with
distributors, culture authorities, art colleges,
universities, galleries, art and antique dealers,
museums, libraries, the Media etc., who are interested
in the Russian art, contemporary, in particular. We
have a network of our own agents and dealers in Russia
and ready to offer a wide range of good quality and
reliable services.

You can contact me on the following numbers: office
