At the moment it is an =22un-official=22 change that has been approved =
internally
within the Smithsonian. It must be approved by Congress before it can be
official. The Smithsonian is currently working on the steps that would =
bring
the matter to the attention of Congress.
I sympathize with your dilemma. We have the same issues here with our =
internal
databases and have begun to make the switch. You may just want to wait for =
an
official announcement.
