US$50.00 + shipping and handling. ISBN 0-9701931-0-6. ART-GENERAL Much of the medieval mind's preoccupation's and thinking can be seen in this sample set of slides from the Mills-Kronborg Collection. Hidden for many centuries, these wall scenes depict a wide range of religious, secular, and mythical themes and show the crude, but solid, simple style and technique of the untrained peasant artist, similar to folk art. The Black Death, the Magi, the Final Damnation, Last Supper, Old Testament scenes, daily living and fantastical creatures are represented. Color and detail are good but due to the discovery process parts of some of the scenes have been wiped out. A descriptive catalog with brief historical introduction, designs and index is very good. A wonderful and exciting set, recommended for academic libraries; full set for art and religious libraries. Jerome Earley, State University College at Buffalo Library, N.Y.
