Our department has a very large picture file (I suppose that today it
would have to be called an image bank.) The pictures have been taken from
several sources--discarded books, magazines, as well as books ordered
specifically for this purpose. We would like to find out how other
libraries do it. If you have, by whatever name, a picture file, would you
please take a few minutes to answer some questions?
        1. Do you continue to replenish the file with new pictures?
        2. From what sources do you get the pictures?
        3. Do you order books specially to be cut up for the pictures?
Thanks for your help.
