Charles and Ray Eames Tours

9:45-10:00am Meet in front of the Eames home for
announcements.

10:00am Tour of the Eames home.

12:00-2:00pm Lunch on your own. (A list of suggested
restaurants and locations will be provided.)

2:00pm Tour of the "The Work of Charles and Ray Eames:
A Legacy of Invention" exhibit at the Los Angeles
County Museum of Art.

Both tours are free of charge, however, space is
limited. RSVP to Angel Lopez by Friday, July 21, 2000,
at [log in to unmask] or (323)661-7388.  Cancellations
by the RSVP deadline will be appreciated.

DIRECTIONS

The Eames home is located in Pacific Palisades at 205
Chautauqua Boulevard.
From the 10 FWY west, take PCH north to Chautauqua
Boulevard.  Turn right onto Chautauqua Boulevard. Turn
left at Corona Del Mar.
(The Eames office requests that visitors park on
Corona Del Mar.  Corona Del Mar intersects Chautauqua
Boulevard just north of the driveway to the house.)

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is located at
5905 Wilshire Boulevard.
From Pacific Palisades, take the 10 FWY east to
Fairfax.
From the offramp, turn left (north). Turn right onto
Wilshire Boulevard. LACMA will be on the left side of
the street. Parking is available on Ogden Drive. From
Wilshire, turn left onto Ogden. The parking structure
is on the left side.
