          The UK Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries: re:source

=3ELaunched in April 2000, The Council for Museums, Archives and
=3ELibraries is a new  UK strategic organization that will work with
=3Eand for museums, archives and  libraries to foster collaboration
=3Ebetween and among them. The Council is called  Resource, and it
=3Erecently announced a temporary web site named re:source. The  web
=3Esite has been described as an interim measure to provide general
=3Einformation  about the organization.
=3E
=3E  In a press release dated 1 June 2000, Neville Mackay, Chief
=3EExecutive of Resource is  quoted, =22Information available on
=3E=3Chttp://www.resource.gov.uk/=3E includes Resource  press releases, a
=3Emedia page and news section, Board members' biographies, a staff
=3Elist, office and staff contact details, sections on recruitment and
=3Epublications, and  various links to other relevant sites. The
=3Ewebsite will be updated on a daily basis.=22
