Our Head of the Catalog Dept. has asked me to suggest text
for a note in the record for Kenneth Frampton's book: Japanese building
practice : from ancient times to the Meiji period. (New York: 1997).
We will be tipping in a copy of the letter from Columbia's Provost
requesting that we withdraw the book because of allegations of
plagiarism, but leaving the book in the collection.
Has anyone already composed a note that you would be willing to share?
