The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) is relocating to the Getty
Research Library in Los Angeles.
BHA is seeking an Editor. Duties include abstracting and indexing of
current art historical literature for inclusion in the BHA database. An
editor evaluates, scans, and summarizes the contents of original
documents, and selects and assigns vocabulary to the record.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in the history of art required; Ph.D.
preferred. 3-4 years indexing and editing experience preferred. Reading
proficiency in two or more western European languages, preferably German
and Italian, required. Rapid reading skills and excellent written skills
required. Skill in operating personal computer hardware required.
Interest in bibliography and ability to handle detail important.
Available: Immediately
Salary range starts at: $33,800
