----------------------------Original message---------------------------- Dear ARLIS/NA Conference Groupies: YES! We had a fabulous time in Pittsburgh. Ray Anne and her crew did a wonderful job. I second everything that Rosemary Haddad said a few days ago--and then some. NOW, turn your attention to the LA conference site just put up on the home page of the ARLIS Website and click on the LA conference logo. Now click on LA Links (from UCLA). You will find a page compiled by the UCLA Arts Library (Judy Herschman?) called Los Angeles Resources that has some of the very best LA Websites to be found--absolutely great for getting you into an "LA Dreaming" mood. My special favorites: Downtown LA Walking Tour, Downtown LA Center District, LA Public Library, Mural Conservancy of LA, and Public Art in LA But, really, they're all delightful. Southern Californians--if you haven't been downtown lately--check out the Downtown LA sites especially to crank up your enthusiasm. As you can tell--I Love LA Joan Benedetti PS Oh yes, don't neglect the interactive session proposal form. Deadline is exactly one month away. __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] Administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner at: [log in to unmask]
