        Documentation Project Associate

        The Lloyd Cotsen Textile Documentation Project at The Textile Museum
is a grant-funded project to develop a lexicon of uniform terminology for
the textile arts.   The Documentation Project Associate serves as the
database manager using ARGUS Open Edition and will assist the Project
Director in organizing colloquia of scholars, experts,  and curators to
develop terminology.  The Project Associate contributes to data collection,
verification, documentation, data entry, and peer review processes.  The
qualified candidate will have strong computer skills and extensive ARGUS
experience or experience with relational database development; recent
master's degree in library science or museum studies with concentration in
museums and technology is preferred but will consider B.A. with extensive
related experience.  Experience in museum registration, archival
documentation, or library technical services is necessary.  Must be
detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal and
