Greetings ARLIS/NA Colleagues,

As was announced at the Pittsburgh conference the April 2000 issue of
Update (#2) will be the last paper issue to be mailed to the entire
Society membership. Starting with the June 2000 issue (#3) Update
will be mailed only to those individual members who requested on
their 2000 membership renewal applications that they wished to
continue to receive Update as a paper copy. All institutional
subscribers will also continue to receive the paper version.

The rest of us will access Update via the ARLIS/NA Web Site where we
can read or download the newsletter as a pdf file. An announcement
will appear in ARLIS-L when each issue of Update has been posted to
the Web Site. This move to electronic publishing will result in
considerable financial savings for the Society.

If you wish to change the choice you made on your membership renewal
