I don't know who the sculptor is, but there is a lovely sculpture of Sacagewea
that stands at the entrance to Washington Park in Portland, Oregon.  Perhaps
that is worth checking out.  Try asking Jim Carmin at Multnomah County Library
in Portland, Oregon.
