The Southern California Psychoanalytic Institute is now hiring a Part-time
librarian to
manage the library facility by employing a wide range of Library skills an
dprovide
Course Materials for Associates and Faculty. Responsibilities include
organize and
main the library collection, including books, journals, reprints, autdio
visual materials
and theses. Check in, catalogue and process all new materials. Purchase
new
materials on psychoanalysis and related areas by evaluating book reviews,
publishers' catalogs and other review sources. Renew journal subscriptions
to
maintain uninterrupted sequence of issues. Maintain proper accounting
records for
ordering, billing and payment of materials. Answer ready reference
questions by
telephone and in person and provide in-depth searches on specific topics as
time
permits. This position is part-time (12 hours a week). We are located in
Beverly
