----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I have planned an interactive session on the History of Image Subject Indexing for the upcoming ARLIS meeting, and would like to invite all of my VR colleagues who will be attending to volunteer to give short informal presentations on the "When, How, and What" of image subject indexing at your institutions. I'm particularly interested in having people who have a formal subject indexing "usage document" relate how that document came into being, what it was based on, and if it is being modified for the digital environment. If you are interested in contributing to this session, or if an ARLIS colleague would like to present something on behalf of a VRA colleague who will not be at the meeting in Pittsburg, PLEASE CONTACT ME OFF THE LIST.
