Hi Lois
I could give you a list of Canadian artist who were attending the Academie
Julian between those years. I wonder if that would help...
For your interest only perhaps?
They are:
C.H. Armington (1900, 1909)
F.M. Armington (1905-7)
C.T. Buller (1902?)
W.H. Clapp (1904-8)
C.A. Gagnon (1904-5)
A.H. Robinson (1903-4)
I. Sheldon-Williams (1903-6)
The very famous Group of Seven artist, A. Y. Jackson was there in 1907
He said of it:
"The Futurists, Cubists and Post-Impressionists are working feverishly and
already the old Impressionist movement seems like ancient history in
Paris"
