Dear Colleagues:

I would like to take a moment to tell you about the wonderful selection
of tours that the Tours and Transportation Committee has put together
for people who attend the Pittsburgh conference from March 16-22, 2000.
Here is a listing with a brief description of the tour selections. If
you have not already done so, please select the tours in which you are
interested and register for the conference as soon as possible. Only
five more days to take advantage of the pre-conference registration
rate!

I can tell you, as a resident of Pittsburgh who after fifteen years is
still considered to be a new-comer, that we are showing off Pittsburgh
in a way that has never before been done! This listing of tour
offerings is truly outstanding and there are several Pittsburgh natives
that are hoping ARLIS/NA members do not sign up for them so THEY can go
along! Don't let the natives take our tour slots! Sign up now and
enjoy this remarkable city that has risen from the closing of the steel
mills during the 1980s to a truly renaissance city! SIGN UP NOW and
have the time of your life!

All of us on the Conference Planning Advisory Committee look forward to
seeing you in Pittsburgh for the beginning of Spring!
