        The Graduate Program in Book History at Drew University presents a free
public lecture:

                        TRYSH TRAVIS

                        will speak on

                READING, RECOVERY, REBECCA WELLS:
     EXPLAINING "THE DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD"

                  Thursday, February 3 at 8 p.m.
                        Learning Center 28
                   Drew University, Madison, NJ

        Trysh Travis is Assistant Professor of English at Southern Methodist
University.  She is currently working on a book exploring the connections
between twentieth-century publishing, masculine identity, and mass
culture.  You can meet Prof. Travis after the lecture at a reception hosted
by the Friends of the Drew University Library.

        This lecture series is funded by a grant from the Gladys Krieble Delmas
Foundation.  Please note on your calendar our schedule of lectures for the
