the exhibition
ABeCedarium
a Guild of Book Workers Exhibit
of Members' Work
January 11-February 20, 1999
Celebrate the alphabet with ABeCedarium. The exhibit,
depicting the work of Guild of Book Workers members
is an excellent representation of contemporary work
in binding, letterpress printing, calligraphy,
illustration, and artists' books. ABeCedarium features
collaborative works with binders and calligraphers,
binders and printers, binders and illustrators, as
well as numerous other combinations. With 40
participants from 17 states and Canada, the exhibition
features 38 books and one wall mounted piece.
The exhibition was organized by Barbara Lazarus Metz,
Exhibition Chair of the Guild of Book Workers. The
catalog was designed by William Drendel.
The spiral bound catalog is available for $20.00, +
