Dear Art Lovers:
A colleague has sent me the folowing message:
"I'm trying to locate a strange picture, a sort of optical illusion.
It's
not of any artistic importance, i.e it wouldn't be called a work of
art,
but, still, it is a picture.
It shows a woman seated at a dressing table, if I recall, facing a
large
circular mirror. Then, when one looks closely, or squints, or
something,
one sees that it the whole forms a skull, i.e. the upper part of the
circular mirror is, if I recall, the cranium of the skull. You get
the
idea."
Does anyone out there in TV land know who the artist may be? It seems
that all the books on anamorphic art in our library are checked out.
Thanks in advance.
