Oddly, the most bothersome mail I received today was the discussion of a
separate list-serv for serials (periodicals, magazines) versus a standardized
subject identification.  I don't use the serials listing but it doesn't bother
me that it is there.  I scroll through it and then delete.  Either way,
although I found the discussion irritatingly redundant, it is nice to know so
many people have thought seriously about their list serv.  I'll be happy with
whatever is decided.
