Hi Genni,
I have used 1200 0r 1300 cards to a drawer to guess the size of our
collection without an actual count. I think I got that number from one
of the library supply house catalogs (I can't remember). I am also
continuing to get a shelf list card from OCLC even though I am
automating the system. Reason: my volunteer forgets to download the
record for our OPAC now and then, so I can use the shelf list card to
reenter the data in the OPAC and also to check her work.
