and the companion exhibition

ARTISTS' BOOKS FROM
THE MATA AND ARTHUR JAFFE COLLECTION
February 12-March 15, 1998
Held in the Bienes Center for the Literary Arts galleries,
(100 S. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301) the exhibitions
feature the 1997 FLORIDA ARTISTS' BOOK PRIZE winning entry,
Alberto Meza's Leonardos phobias; and three other entries:
Rosemarie Chiarlone's To Dress; Linda K. Johnson's On the Line;
and Elizabeth Heller and Mario Laplante's To Be of Use.
MODERN RARE BOOKS II, highlights 42 bookworks by Susan Allix,
Mare Blocker, Julie Chen, Antonio Frasconi, Elaine Kowalsky,
Carlos Macia, Nance O'Banion, Claire Van Vliet, Debra Weier, and
others.
As of Feb. 12, 1998, a complimentary 26-page catalog will be
