Fortuitously, the representative from Art Education for the Blind in NYC
called me just today (as I had earlier had discussions with them about the
series.) The first volumre is due in March. AEB is very anxious to reach
art librarians, so I referred them to ARLIS/NA HQ. They may try to attend
the conference. If you would like to talk with Virginia Hooper, of AEB,
directly, her number is (212) 334-8721. I know she woudl be glad to hear
from art librarians and will send out the prospectus and order form for the
first volume.

Help friends! I know I've seen a brochure about this set, but can't put
my hands on it. A 22-volume set with images tactilely reproduced for
the blind, published in association with MOMA. I believe the set costs
ca. $6,000, and I think the brochure I saw was just for the first
volume.
Does anyone have title/publisher info? Does anyone in NY city own this?
We'd like to send a patron to look at it, if so...
Thanks.
