Looking for information on Otto Reit or Reith. Thought to be German. I
have two references:
A 1905 speech mentions Reit's "naturalistic treatment of the Classical."
An article implies that Reith was an accomplished perspectivist, and
states: "Like others in [the US] [Henry Hornbostel] [noted] the clever
sketches of Otto Reith which were appearing in the architectural
journals during the [eighteen-] nineties."
I've looked in the basic indexes and artists' biographical sources
without avail. We don't have much in the way of journals from the
1890s.
Any help is appreciated.
