A few years ago I went to the Paper & Book Intensive for book artists,
conservationists, etc. & met Sandy Krupa, who was a special collections
librarian at the University of Washington.  She has (or at least had at the
time) a large collection of artists books & in fact, outbid everyone at the
conference auction to add to her collection.  I don't know if she is still
there, but the collection surely must be.
