Collegues,
Forgive me for this long, overdue THANKS, but in respect to my
question about timelines, my co-workers were very appreciative -
if not overwhelmed with the response. Thanks particularly from
Mary ("The") Turtle, the librarian who asked the question
originally.
Actually, for what we wanted, Gombrich's Story of Art filled the
need. (WHY did I not find that?? I was looking at it!) But we
started a very fruitful discussion. Great idea to put the
bibliography on the ARLIS Home Page! If someone would like to
take it from here - or tell me how - go right ahead. Part of my
problem that I didn't do this sooner was that it's hard for me -
given the main frame system (rather outdated) that I'm working on
to send a long complex message. I have to use round-about
methods.
Following is the list of material I received - with much more to
be added.
