Philadelphia Conference Program Proposals Requested
The annual conference of ARLIS/NA will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
from March 6 through 10, 1998. The deadline for conference program proposals
will be May 31, 1997. We urge the ARLIS/NA membership to begin planning
programs before the San Antonio conference (April 3-9). We ask all moderators,
coordinators, and chairs to poll constituents for session topics and themes,
and to begin lining up volunteers to moderate and/or speak at the proposed
sessions. The following topics are put forward as catalysts for ideas for
sessions, in the form of lectures, panel discussions, workshops, seminars,
AskARLIS's, or discussion groups:

- Affordable OPACs?
- We've got the hardware - now what?

books...
- Cost-efficiency in conservation
