SUBJECT: Directions to H.W. Wilson--A Clarification
The collective wisdom of the membership suggests that
you can get to H.W. Wilson from the #1 train--but there are
better ways. In other words, you can travel to W. 181st
Street on the #1 train, and then get over to H.W. Wilson's
from there, either by taking the #13 Ogden Avenue bus, or
by taking a taxi. But it is a long haul; it is much
quicker to take the D train or #4 train to 161st St. The
#1 route was supplied for those coming from the Far North (or
confirmed West Siders). Someone has pointed out that one
can transfer from the A or C train to the "D" train at W. 145th
Street; that might be the best option for those coming from
the West Side.
The announcement mailed to all Chapter members contains a
map which will make all things clear(er).
Apologies to all non-ARLIS-NY members for taking up space
with the intricacies of the
NYC transit system. We'll post a report on the tour for your
edification.
