We have also been having problems with our RLIN connection via Interport.
I spoke to RLIN and their suggestion was to upgrade to version W3 of
their software, which is available from them via FTP. It's a relatively
recent release and MIGHT help the strenth of the connection.
The other suggestion was to try using their Compuserv connections as
outlined in their "Rates for Services from RLG. 1997."
We're going to try version W3 for now, but I'm afraid I'm not too
optimistic. Has anyone else used it? Please note, I'm told that if one
is using the connection for SCIPIO contributions or ILL, that version W1
must be used--at least for the next year.
This is extremely frustrating.
