Hope someone out there can help with this query: does anyone remember
Die Vornembsten Stat der Welt Stadtekalender nach Braun und Hogenberg,
distributed by Harrassowitz, I think as promotional items during the 70s
and 80s? They are quality reproductions of old European city views, one
image per month in the calendar, intended to be framed since frames
could be ordered for them. I have found a couple of the calendars
listed in world cat, and what seem to be a number of individual images
on e-bay, but in Europe and listed for prices in euros - at least,
that's what I deduce with my rudimentary German. My question: what
would you do with them? They are really beautiful reproductions, but I
am at a loss what to recommend. Thanks for any advice, off list is fine.
