Dear CW,
We are planning to have the minutes from our Board of Trustees' meetings since 1941 digitized. We will need to keep the original paper format. Currently they are in 3-ring binders which take up too much space (Recent couple of decades' worth are housed in 3 & 4" ring binders, but paper actually occupies bout 2-2.5") and are exposed to air, light, & dust. It's time these went into appropriate storage containers prevent the minutes from being mixed up or rearranged. I've considered archival "O-Ring preservation boxes", but estimate this might take $1,000 or so.
Has anyone had this challenge? If so how did you handle it? Before I make a recommendation to our Director's office, I'd love to hear from the Collective Wisdom.
