Hi Kathleen-- we have Active Matter and other samples at Syracuse. We barcode each one and they circulate- in our case for one day. To date, because they can take out the samples and we can override due date, we have not experienced any losses. Ours is also an open collection. Best, Barbara Opar

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Active Matter subscriptions
Hi all -
I was able to fund a two-year subscription to the Active Matter serial from Materials Connexion.
My colleagues here have some concern about this collection being damaged through use. I, of course, want to make this as available as possible.
If your institution subscribes, would you mind sharing how you provide access to this collection. Is it in open or closed stacks? Does it circulate out of the library?
I'm happy to summarize for the list if it's helpful.
Thanks so much,
Kathleen DeLaurenti
