Hello Everyone,
Art e-books are becoming an increasing topic of conversation around
here, at the annual conference and with local chapters, as highlighted
by today's announcement of ARLIS/NY's upcoming talk "Art Books &
Ebooks: A Difficult Conversation?"
I wanted to share with you all a new website that may be of interest,
it's called Beyond the Printed Page: Museum Digital Publishing Bliki
and can be found online at http://digitalpublishingbliki.com and under
the Twitter hashtag #digpublishing.
The site is still young, but it promises to be an increasingly
interesting site of conversation and information on digital publishing
in the visual arts. It is moderated by Liz Neely and Amy Weber of the
Art Institute of Chicago, and already has a number of members and
contributors from institutions across the field. I hope you'll
consider subscribing to the site, or even registering as members to
comment on posts and contribute new posts of your own. All are
welcome!
Best,
Greg
