Hi Kathy: I had exactly the same experience trying to make my hotel
reservations Sunday night. I emailed Chris Roper and he says he is working
with the hotel to get additional rooms and to make sure they are at the
confirmed $209 conference price. He says he'll let us know when this has
been settled--presumably later today or tomorrow. --Joan

Didn't mean to freak anyone. I sent the message after the ARLIS reservation
link gave me a 'failed reservation/call the hotel' message Sunday night, and
two different reservation people (one via the direct number and the other
via the 800 number) not only had trouble finding the ARLIS block but
confirmed that there were only Club floor rooms remaining at $309. Perhaps
Chris can call get their reservation folks to be more aware of the ARLIS
arrangement?
I was told that their regular room rate for the conference period is $235
for king or double room, so my AAA discount was off of that.
