Greetings Ray Anne and ARLIS-ians,
Here at SJSU, we are also reviewing our reference collection. I
myself am a proponent of reference sources. Some sources have made
the transition to e-versions more successfully than others. Some
titles still are only available as print sources. How to unite the
process of consulting print and electronic sources is something we
must all practice in order to be effective librarians.
So, as example of my willingness to blow the dust of books in my
collection and get reacquainted with print reference sources, I humbly
submit a blog entry on my bookcharmer site:
http://bookcharmer.blogspot.com/2011/06/reference-renaissance-more-than-just.html
I would be happy to follow your comments on my blog or as a reply to this list.
Best regards,
Rebecca
