Dear List,
At the Long Island University's library school site at NYU, graduate students may earn an M.A. in Art History from NYU, and an MLS with a concentration in Rare Books and Special Collections. I teach courses in Contemporary Artists' Books and The History of the Book for the joint program. I won't be at the conference but am available by email.

Hi Lyn, at UNC we offer both a dual degree program and teach a course called "Art & Visual Information Management" (co-taught be JJ Bauer and I). As far as I know, only UNC, Indiana, and Pratt have full dual degree programs (did I forget anyone...?). Those of us teaching art info courses at these institutions will be presenting at ARLIS/NA this year on the future of these types of courses and programs. http://vraarlis11.sched.org/event/84011a699157a65a70532117bc1c3b1d
I hope you can join us!

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Art Librarianship course
Dear ARLIS/NA Colleagues,
I am interested in identifying those ARLIS/NA members who teach (or have taught) an "art library/librarianship" course(s) in connection with:
1) a Double-degree (MA/MLIS) in Art History/Library Science, and/or
2) a Library Science degree (MLIS) with an Art Librarianship Specialization
At the UW-Madison, Linda Duychak and I are in the process of developing such a course to be offered in connection with the above.
Please let us know if you would be willing to share a bit about your experience with us. We'd like to get together with you at the upcoming ARLIS/NA conference in Minneapolis or communicate with you in another way.
Thank you!
