Colleagues:
I have a scholar who is trying to determine who currently holds the rights
to Vladimir Tatlin works. A decade ago it was VAGA, but they no longer do.
Checking the most recent book in our collection, the late Norbert Lytton's
one, 2009, Yale UP only credits museums, not an estate or rights manager.
Our assumption is that Tatlin's work has fallen into public domain, either
by intent or non-renewal.
Can anyone corroborate or point me to sources to confirm this?
Kind regards,
Lee
