Dear colleagues,
Some of our patrons buy the images they need - when they need them - from
sites like <http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php>, but from time to time
people ask us to give them free access to - i.e. sign a site licence to - a
photo database, like <http://www.gettyimages.com/>.
So far we have not done this, but we are considering it - and would very
much appreciate to hear from those of you who have a site licence to a good
image database (or more) - AND from those of you who have chosen not to
offer this service to your patrons.
I would also appreciate information on good sites with
free-to-use-high-resolution-images, attribution-share-alike etc (like
Wikipedia commons)
All the best from
Kjersti in the Winterwonderland,
