Dear Everyone,
I'm passing this along for the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex,
Gender and Reproduction. It is a great opportunity for SLIS students and
scholars with a specific interest in human sexuality or erotic art. And of
course, it's a wonderful way to give back to our field.
The John Money Fellowship for Scholars of Sexology was established in 2002
by Dr. John Money. The fellowship is to support graduate students whose
scholarly work would benefit from the use of library and archival
materials at The Kinsey Institute for Sex, Gender, and Reproduction.
Applications are encouraged from all students enrolled in a graduate
program in the United States and whose interests concern the history,
politics, methodology of sexology and sexuality studies.

In addition to conducting his or her own research, the fellow is expected
to make a contribution to the organization, preservation, and/or
accessibility of The Kinsey Institute collections. Examples include, but
are not limited to, the creation of annotated bibliographies, collection
guides, finding aids, and digital presentations or media productions which
highlight or showcase The Kinsey Institute collections.
Application guidelines and process are available online (PDF document).
The application deadline is December 14, 2009. The fellowship announcement
will be made by January 29, 2010, and fellowships will be awarded for
2010.
