Hello,
I was wondering what actions you and your library take in the case
of long overdues (multiple years) for faculty and/or staff of your
institution. Beyond frequent notices and explanation of why materials
need to be returned, does anyone have in place any repercussions for
their faculty and staff? Does anyone revoke any privileges at the
library such as borrowing until items are returned?
Also, I was curious about basic borrowing privileges at museum and/or
closed stacks libraries for faculty/staff, what materials do or do not
circulate? How long are borrowing periods? Is there are a limit to the
number of materials that can be checked out? Are there limits to
renewals?
Thank you for any thoughts you can share,
-Alison
