The Guild of Book Workers MARKING TIME traveling exhibition is now
online at: http://www.guildofbookworkers.org/gallery/markingtime/index.html
MARKING TIME features fifty works that will travel to nine venues
across the country from May, 2009 to March, 2011. Fine binding,
printing and artists' books are all well represented in the exhibition.
MARKING TIME is accompanied by a printed catalog that features full
color photographs and complete descriptions of all fifty exhibited
works, biographies of the artists, and statements by the exhibition's
jurors and GBW president and exhibitions chair.
Catalogs are $35, and are available from the Guild of Book Workers.
An order form is online at
http://www.guildofbookworkers.org/gallery/markingtime/catalogorder.html
MARKING TIME will be on view at the San Francisco Public Library from
September 6 through November 22. The show then travels to the
University of Washington Seattle, December 7, 2009-February 19, 2010.
