I have seen this in Hawaii, including several art groups I belong to and
the university where I work. I am the archivist for an art group and print
out the e-invitations for our permanent records. Records management and
archives professions are wrestling with preservation of electronic
records - long, complicated story. So far, the best options for longevity
are to print out, film, or keep migrating electronic files to new
software/hardware every 5 years or so. Ellen Chapman

We have collected the printed cards for a long time and are now concerned about archiving the electronic ones. Has anyone developed any neat solutions for the latter problem? May be worth sharing with the list.
