Hi Chizu,
In my understanding, if you add 043 field, you have an related 650 Z subdivision or 651 field, or both.

Subject: [ARLIS-L] Cataloging question--- 043 field
Dear Catalogers,
We have been adding the 043 field when creating records and were
wondering how useful it is. Do you use them and how do you use them? We
are curious to find out other institution's practices. Currently, we do
not have a set policy.
Thanks in advance,
Chizu
